Dr. Saml Johnson: A woman preaching is like a dog’s walking on his hinder legs. It is not done well; but you are surprised to find it done at all

women are like bagpipes: you’d like them better if they’d just stay quiet. (I LOVE this quote)—It was from a calendar at Wal-Mart…maybe it was from Maxim…I can’t remember.
But, to be fair, the calendar maker made one just like it, only with male-bashing quotes. I didn’t find that one funny at all, and rather offensive…

Two by Freidrich Nietzsche:

The Germans are like women, you can scarcely ever fathom their depths — they haven’t any.

God created woman. And boredom did indeed cease from that moment — but many other things ceased as well! Woman was God’s second mistake.

From John Wayne: They have the right to work wherever they want to-as long as they have dinner ready when you get home.

And there’s also that infamous one from Jerry Lewis who said that women comedians are not funny. I can’t find the exact quote, but it’s pretty infuriating.
